Cancelling Cash and EP Payments for Star Chamber Card Comments

The good news is that there are lots of card comments being posted on the Star Chamber site. This makes this site a great resource for players entering the game, as well as those who want to upgrade their skills.

The bad news is that the comments are comming in at rate that is much higher than the revenue for this site. The Stargate side has a much broader player base and thus is able to sustain payments for comments, the Star Chamber side, however, just isn't supporting itself. My revenue on the Star Chamber side of this site is currently running at $0.17/day for May 2007. That barely covers my hosting costs. With 10 comments being posted on an average day I'm losing money every day. I have no choice but to suspend payments for comments.

For those folks who have 20 or more unpaid comments, if you want your payment I will honor my promise of payment for comments.

I am happy to continue my previous program of offering 1 month of support for every 20 comments posted to this site, that costs me nothing, and I'm happy to offer full access to the site to any player who is willing to support it by adding quality content.

No, the site is not going anywhere. I'm having fun running it, the only thing that is changing is my previous policy of cash and EP payments for content.
