This site is a resource for all Star Chamber players, my goal is to provide a way for players to find information about how to play the game better, figure out which cards their deck needs, be an informed trader, and have the best gaming experience possible.

How Do I Get the Most Out of This Site?

To get the most out of this web site you will want to download the deckviewer program. This is a Java program that you install on your local computer and it reads the save files created by your SOE game to allow you to manage the contents of your collection as well as push information about cards that you have marked for trade and that you want to aquire to a database on this this web site. That program does a bunch of other cool things, if you want to know all it can do you can read the documentation.

The first time you run this program it will create an account for you on this web site, and you'll get a line of your very own in the Trade Table. An account on the site will also allow you to add card and article comments, card combos, glossary entries, and open an online card store to sell your extra cards.

Once you have an account, you can login to the trade db to get a custom view that shows your trades and wants cross referenced against every other player in the database. This will allow you to see who is a good candidate to trade with and what they want, you can now set up "Posted Trades" in the Stagate Online TCG or Star Chamber Trade Lobby, or contact the player by sending them a Private Message on the SOE Strategy Games Site.

What's the catch?

Use of the Deckviewer program and the trade database is free, but I ask that if you find this site useful you help support it. The easiest way is to send $11/year (or $6 for 6 months) via paypal. I also accept card trades for most games. If that won't work for you I also am paying for articles and offer free months of support to players who enter enough quality card comments. Contact me for details. I want this site to be a true community resource and we'll all get the most out of it if everyone contributes in some fashion. Those who are supporting members get access to extra stuff.

About this Web Site

This site was built out of a love for the online TCG experience. I love being able to sit down and in 20-60 minutes play an interesting strategic game with players from all over the world. I have been playing the games listed on this site since December of 2003 when I started playing Star Chamber.

The pages of this site, as well as all the scripts used to access the database is all custom php and mysql code and represents many hours of time and effort to bring this community a place to find information about these games.
